My name is Julia Roe and I am currently a sophomore at the University of South Alabama. My goal is to be a high school coach of either volleyball or basketball, and I intend on receiving this position once I obtain my degree in Physical Education. I graduated from a small, private high school in Pensacola, Florida by the name of Aletheia Christian Academy where I received a wonderful education that prepared me for life as a college student. To the best of my knowledge, in order to coach at the majority of high schools, it is necessary for one to also have a degree in Education. This is why I decided on a PE major verses an Exercise Science major. I do believe that my ability to work well with and reach out to kids of all ages will only help me through my time as a coach and teacher.
